Claire has a long career of working as a school librarian and has supported many parents who wanted to be able to help their child with reading, but didn't necessarily know how to do so.
Sadly, experienced and professional librarians are in limited supply today. But with Claire's expert help, you can feel empowered and get the practical help you need, within the comfort of your own home!

Please enter the zoom meeting promptly. Sessions cannot be extended. Additional separate bookings can later be made by you, if required.
Due to safeguarding purposes, if you would like Claire to work with your child during a session, you will also need to be visible throughout the session.
When giving advice to you or your child, Claire will use her professional experience and expertise in order to offer personalised, insightful advice. You are not obliged to carry out any advice if you do not wish. During advice sessions, this will require Claire to ask questions about reading preferences and habits. It may also require Claire to ask broader questions about your child’s hobbies and likes.
Every effort will be made to suggest books appropriate to your child's level and preferences. Some recommendations may include reading that you may feel are politically/socially sensitive. You will ultimately be responsible for making judgements about what is appropriate.
Cancellation Policy
You have a right to cancel a booked session.
If you are unable to attend a session or decides to cancel a session that you have booked, for any reason, this must be notified by writing. You will need to email clairewarrenconsulting@gmail.com with at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the session. You will be able to re-arrange a different booking time/date with Claire if you wish, subject to availability, and will not have to re-pay. If a session is no longer required, then you will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made 24 hours or less before a session will be subject to a charge the original payment amount and no refund will be given. This includes when you are a ‘no-show’ and do not attend a booked session. Only in extenuating circumstances can a refund be given. This is mainly due to the costs relating to Claire’s time in carrying out various administrative tasks required before each session as well as the inability to book other clients.
