Claire Warren Consulting launched as a sole trader in February 2024, with the hope of being able to provide professional advice to parents, schools and young people about books and reading.

Claire has over 16 years' experience of working as a secondary school librarian based in the UK. 

She has also previously worked as as a librarian for a Schools Library Service, giving professional advice to hundreds of primary, special + secondary schools, as well as colleges about literacy, reading + libraries. 

Claire is a qualified and chartered librarian with a passion for children's and young adult books.

She has also written numerous book reviews for The School Library Association's quarterly publication and been a judge for the BBC's 500 Words children's writing competition.
